I am Nisha and I live in San Diego, California with my husband and two daughters Nimisha and Vihaana. I grew up in India, in the city of Kolkata West Bengal.

Kolkata has always been a city with lot of history , culture and a city full of people with artistic expressions and I was lucky to be a part of this culture which encouraged me to pursue my passion for art from childhood.

I started drawing at the age of 5 and have been actively creating works of art since then. Although I grew up to be an engineer, my heart always stayed in pursuing my dream of fine arts and I finally got a chance when we moved to the US.

I enjoyed working with my girls and teaching them to draw and doodle from the time they were 3 ! I discovered that I really enjoy working with my children and that led to  my ‘Creative arts’ art classes for kids!

In my posts, I keep sharing small art activities driven towards getting young children and toddlers interested towards fine arts. They are mostly fun and easy activities that I do with my kids.

I am grateful  for being able to express myself through art and I feel blessed to be able share them with others!
